MEET YOUR GUIDES

WHAT QUALIFIES US TO HELP GUIDE PEOPLE IN THEIR HEALING?

It’s important to understand that our guides are humans just like everyone else. They are not gurus that have been untouched by life’s challenges. Between the two of them they have life experience of overcoming and healing from:

  • Childhood abuse

  • Military trauma

  • Debilitating physical injury

  • Addictions

  • Toxic work culture

  • Death / Loss / Abandonment / Grief

  • Anxiety & Depression

  • Divorce

  • Suicidal + homicidal ideation

We do not only ask for participants to be vulnerable, we stay vulnerable right along side you. We are constantly on our own healing journey just as everyone else. We are simply sharing the tools and techniques they have employed for ourselves to bring us out of the trenches and onto our higher path.

Michael Hernandez is a Marine veteran, expert trauma specialist, breathwork practitioner, and exposure therapist. After surviving a devastating injury during his service in combat, he chose not just to recover  but to alchemize pain into purpose. He walked through fire, not to escape it, but to become the kind of man who could lead others through their own.

Following his time as a firefighter/paramedic, Michael committed his life to the pursuit of healing and human potential. He holds certifications in trauma-informed yoga, Oxygen Advantage instructor trainer, Breath-work Journey specialist, strength and conditioning, Resiliency therapist and has spent the last seven years guiding transformative experiences that fuse mental resilience, physical performance, and deep nervous system regulation.

As Executive Director of Sovereign Journey, he works with individuals, teams, and corporations to build holistic wellness systems grounded in devotion, self-awareness, and embodied leadership.

His mission: help others reclaim their strength, transmute their pain, and rise clear, grounded, and unshakably sovereign.

At 28, Natalie Kyle whispered a promise to herself: “It’s time to truly know who you are.” That quiet vow of curiosity sparked a personal revolution 10 years in the making.

Beneath the surface of a high-achieving career in big tech, she carried the weight of unhealed life wounds — and the invisible bruises of narcissistic abuse, endured in both a toxic relationship and a dysfunctional work culture. For years, she pushed through — performing, producing, and proving her worth — until burnout forced a choice: keep betraying herself, or finally come home.

She chose the long road back to self.

Thirteen years as a User Experience Designer trained her to solve complex problems for others — but the most transformative design she ever built was her own healing. Natalie became her own case study, decoding her patterns, unlearning the roles she was taught to play, and reclaiming the truth beneath the survival.

She realized: If you can design your energy, you can redesign your life.

Now, she helps others do the same. Natalie is certified in sound healing, Reiki, life purpose coaching and trauma-informed yoga — and brings a grounded, lived understanding to every space she holds.

With warmth, precision, and presence, she supports those navigating burnout, identity loss, and the ache of becoming.

Because the path is never linear — but healing is always possible. For those ready to meet themselves honestly and unapologetically, Natalie’s already walking beside you.

As a self-proclaimed ‘Florida-Boy,’ Joe Blazina grew up in the flatwoods and hardwood hammocks of Central Florida, developing a deep respect and appreciation for the delicate natural systems that quietly sustain our everyday lives. Driven by this love for his home state and a perpetual curiosity, he pursued his passion from a young age to become a Landscape Architect. He now works daily to recalibrate the relationship between built and natural landscapes.

As an original participant and ‘frequent flyer” of Sovereign Journey, Joe stumbled onto his path when he stepped outside his comfort zone and into a yoga studio for the first time three years ago. After finally surrendering to the reality that his old approach wasn't working, he embraced a journey of self-discovery and healing. This path allowed him to examine his deeper wounds, confront his fears, and open his heart to a higher purpose of serving others.

Through the tools, community, and support from Sovereign Journey, Joe is “stoked beyond belief” to continue growing alongside men who are ready to lean in and explore what lies beneath the surface. Drawing from his love of the outdoors and hands-on creativity, he creates spaces where vulnerability meets strength and authentic growth takes root. Like the delicate ecosystems he nurtures professionally, he guides men toward integrating all aspects of themselves—understanding that lasting transformation requires patience, the right conditions, and a willingness to tend what wants to emerge
